Our Health Crisis
Our population is now sicker and heavier than ever before
A third of the global population is overweight or obese, and one in eight people are either diabetic or pre-diabetic. Diet-related illnesses such as diabetes, autoimmune diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and even cancer are at alarming rates, despite advancements in medical interventions. Modern medicine often falls short in addressing chronic diseases because it focuses on treating symptoms rather than tackling the root cause. Chronic diseases are mostly self-inflicted, a result of our dietary and lifestyle choices.
Despite the abundance of health information available, much of it is confusing or misleading. This makes it difficult for individuals to make informed health decisions. Furthermore, modern life has introduced numerous health challenges, including increased stress, poor dietary habits, and a lack of physical activity. These factors collectively contribute to the deterioration of our health.
